Meet Sandy Grassmuck
Lake St. Louis isn’t just where I live... it’s home.
My husband and I have been proud homeowners here since 2008, where we raised our son and built deep roots in this community.
As a local business owner, homeowner, and Alderman, I understand the responsibility that comes with growth — and the importance of protecting the character, safety, and quality of life that make Lake St. Louis such a special place to live.
Serving this city over the past four years has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we have accomplished meaningful, measurable progress:
✔ Cut property taxes in half and became a debt-free city
✔ Transformed the Meadows into a vibrant outdoor shopping and entertainment destination
✔ Placed a moratorium on apartments to responsibly update our city code
✔ Uptown beautification with new sidewalks, street lights, and benches
✔ Prioritized public safety
✔ Focused on smart, responsible growth
✔ Protected the character and beauty of our city
Lake St. Louis is a special place. Growth is coming whether we like it or not — the key is managing it wisely, strategically, and with long-term vision. That’s exactly what I’ve worked to do.
