Meet Sandy Grassmuck
Alderman, City of Lake St. Louis
For the past four years, it has been an honor to serve the beautiful City of Lake St. Louis as your Alderman. My husband and I have proudly called Lake St. Louis home since 2008, where we raised our son and built deep roots in this community.
Lake St. Louis is more than where I live — it’s home.
I am a local business owner and entrepreneur, having founded Grassmuck Realty, LLC in 2009 and The Sound Sanctuary in 2024, a wellness business serving our region.
As a small business owner, homeowner, and longtime resident, I understand the importance of thoughtful leadership, fiscal responsibility, and protecting the character of our city.
Committed to a Safe City & Smart Growth
Growth is coming to Lake St. Louis — there’s no stopping that.
What we can control is how we grow.
I believe in smart, intentional growth that prioritizes public safety, strong infrastructure, stable property values, and the natural beauty that makes Lake St. Louis such a special place to live. We can welcome progress without sacrificing what makes our community feel like home.
Proven Leadership & Real Results
During my time as Alderman, I’m proud of the real, measurable progress we’ve made together, including:
• Cleaning up and revitalizing the Meadows area
• Implementing a moratorium on apartment complexes to allow time for thoughtful code updates
• Advancing beautification efforts in the Uptown area
• Adding a new park in the Meadows
• Supporting policies that protect homeowners and enhance quality of life
These weren’t always easy decisions — but they were the right decisions for the long-term health and future of our city.
Looking Ahead
I love Lake St. Louis and care deeply about its future. I am committed to continuing to serve with integrity, transparency, and common sense — listening to residents, asking tough questions, and making thoughtful decisions that keep our city safe, beautiful, and thriving.
I respectfully ask for your continued trust and support as I work to protect what we love about Lake St. Louis — while planning responsibly for what’s ahead.
